Simon Fashion Now: Before The Runway

7 For All Mankind
On Wednesday, September 5, 2012, a select group of bloggers were invited to attend an exclusive sneak peek of the season's most popular fall trends and styles before they hit the runway during the Houston Galleria's most exciting fashion show, Simon Fashion Now. The event was held in the Monarch Room of the Westin Galleria, on the 24th floor, and was hosted by Jacque Ellis of the Simon Property Group. The evening featured Houston fashion stylist Leslie Rivas, who styles all the Simon Fashion Now looks, offering tips and trends. Guests enjoyed complimentary bites and champagne, as well as received VIP swag bags upon their departure. The VIP swag bags featured retailer goodies, a full-size O.P.I. nail lacquer in "Kiss Me On My Tulips," a wine bottle stopper, {my absolute favorite} a complimentary "Preferred Pass" to the Houston Fine Art Fair, and a printed-pamphlet schedule of the Simon Fashion Now festivities from September 6-8.

The five main fall trends that will be showcased for Simon Fashion Now included: fur, printed-skinny bottoms [see above], animal prints, blues [see below], and greens.

Here's a few images from the #BeforeTheRunway event from fellow Houston Fashion Bloggers Veronika, Imani, Vanessa, Taylor, Rocquelle, and the ladies from Girl Around Town. I saved the best for last, or at least my favorite ensemble.
