Valentino: The Last Emperor is soon to be available on DVD and Blu-Ray.
It has been raved as "a must-see" by The New York Times, "the first big fashion movie to come out since Sex and the City" by Fashion Rules, "smart and sumptuous" by Wall Street Journal, "huge fun" by Premiere, and "mesmerizing" by New York Magazine.
The film is an inspirational look into the life and times of the iconic fashion designer Valentino Garavani. The film documents the colorful and dramatic closing act of the last true couturier's celebrated career, and revisits the story of his extraordinary life and work. But, at the heart of the film is the unique and endearing relationship between Valentino and his business partner/ companion of 50 years, Giancarlo Giammetti.
In addition to the original feature-length film, the disks includes over 46 minutes of exclusive never-before-seen bonus materials: 3 mini-features covering the unique world of haute couture and the unmatched highlife of Valentino and Giancarlo Giammetti.
It's scheduled for release on (Tuesday) September 8th. However, DVD and Blu-ray are already available for pre-order in the USA and Canada.
Currently, the film is still going strong in select theaters nationwide (including Village East Cinemas in New York).
